4T 2017 SPRING FISHERY CLARIFICATION AND UPDATES

Good Morning 
This is a an email/update Herb wanted sent out regarding the 4T Fisheries for the Spring of 2017.
there is a Spring fishery for the members of the 4vn management group that have registered for the same. there was a email sent from DFO that substantiates the same. (see the following) "This is a message just to clarify – there seems to have been a miscommunication somewhere, but DFO now understands that the 4Vn Management Board wishes to fish in 4T in June of 2017. When you asked us about the possibility of fishing in April 2018, this was regarding leftover quota not caught in the summer of 2017. 
Sorry for the misunderstanding, we can work together to establish your fishing plan for 4T in June 2017." 
Jen Ford DFO The proposed dates for the 4T fishery will happen after the Gulf fishers fish their Spring fishery. fishery  The second opening will start right after the first one closes. And a reminder about keeping the by-catch in both 4VN and 4T as low as possible(in 4T anything over 100 lbs. DFO can close the fishery on the group) .
