The following are changes that will be found in your conditions regarding the upcoming 4T fishery directly from DFO.

WHEN FISHING FOR ATLANTIC HALIBUT IN SUBDIVISION 4T: FOR THE PURPOSE OF THESE LICENCE CONDITIONS A PRIMARY BUOY IS DEFINED AS A BUOY OR OTHER FLOATING DEVICE ATTACHED TO A LONGLINE. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THESE LICENCE CONDITIONS A SECONDARY BUOY IS DEFINED AS A BUOY OR OTHER FLOATING DEVICE ATTACHED TO A PRIMARY BUOY. A MAXIMUM OF 3.7 METERS OF ROPE SHALL BE USED WHEN ATTACHING A PRIMARY BUOY TO A SECONDARY BUOY. NO ROPE ATTACHING A LONGLINE TO A PRIMARY BUOY SHALL REMAIN FLOATING ON THE SURFACE OF THE WATER AFTER THE LONGLINE HAS BEEN SET.

There are also changes coming soon that are new to the 2018 4VN fishing conditions and when made available from DFO I will send out the same for you to be aware of.
